mac longtube question

The problem with longtubes and trannys is the starter bump on the tranny not the rest of the tranny. I will be putting my longtubes on the wifes car which is auto so I will know for sure then if its doable or not.

thanks oxford. just curious, are macs the only ones you have tried? or have you tried others and they wouldnt work? i guess im glad that no one bashed mac! ive heard they are high quality these days with excellent fit

can you do it with bbk anyone know im doin a clutch in a week and im hopping i get get by with the LT's on

I have installed SLP, BBK, and Hooker LT headers on friends cars and by looking at them during the install none of those would allow you to drop the tranny with the passanger header installed.

all this input is much appreciated guys. its nice to have these forums to hear everyones opinions on mods, installs, etc. (well most opinions!) i was back and forth between mac lt's and bassani mids, but looks like the mac's win. thx agn

Heck no Bro! I got mine for less than 300 and had them professionally ceramic coated inside and out for 275.
