Default Cobra exhaust on a GT

Some of you have asked about cobra exhaust on a gt and if its possible. Most said no but it is. This is my buddys foxbody nitrous fed 351w. It has a solid 8.8 rearend and an 03 cobra catback. He said no cutting was nessesary he just had to tweek the hangers a bit. He says it doesnt hit or rub. I know its not a 99-04 gt but it is basicly the same.

I would think that there would be a problem with the rear axle coming in contact with the exhaust. Seeing how close his diff is to the piping makes me very uneasy. Good luck with that setup.

well its not that you can't, hell you can put an eaton on a 2v.. but our cars have the exhaust tubing go over the axles for a reason.

That would bug me being that low. Of course I should talk my headers are 3" off the ground. But it just looks a lot cleaner if it goes over the axle. I guess you're right though it can be done.
