Ok my 98 mustang GT was wrecked not by me. This is what I had that was after market on it. I had a vortech supercharger, lower springs, steeda short throw shifter, 3:73 gears and flowmasters. I am looking at getting a 99 or newer my questions is will all of this swap over. Does anyone know it it will swap or not.

You'll need another bracket... Thats all. And of course a tune or chip for the different ECU. No you can use your 98 ECU in the other car.

Are you saying I can use my 98 ecu in 2001? I had my old car tuned and not chipped but flashed it was like almost 900 bucks

No, your 98 wont work because it power coil packs not individual coils like the 01 is equipped with.

But he can use his old engine harness and and coil packs with the old ecu on the new engine. The tune will be off tho because of the different compresion ratios. But it wont be that bad.

I think I will just get it put all my stuff on it then get it tuned instead of worrying about the ecu I suppose. the 99 and up are pi motors right. 96-98 are npi is this correct?

yes up to 98 are npi, 99-04 are pi your correct

Your talking about a ton of work and hassle for no gain, and the tune still won't be right anyway...

Yeah when I read that it kind of freaked me out. I am going to look at an 01 tomorrow the mile are real high 145000 but the price is good 5900 So why do some of you think are the miles to high or should I seriously think about it I mean the prices is like 2 grand under kbb private party. I really want to go with a 99 ad up becauce of the horse power difference
