hey I have a 2000 mustang GT and i was wondering what tranny i have so i will no what shift kit to buy? i think its the 4r70w?

thanks guys i was hoping so i bought a transgo shiftkit the aode-4r70w hd2 kit. I hope tis will be a good match with my 4.10 gears for xmas

if you're doing a shift kit, you should go ahead and get a transmission cooler put in while it's apart. It'll help extend the life of the transmission. Shift-kit + 4.10's is gonna be a very big improvement.....

I would have recommended going with a jmod. It can be free if you are comfortable enough with doing it. It's much better for your tranny than most shiftkits are.

and there are a few people w/ the transgo shift kit and they like it but i can't speak for them since i do not have one.
