How much horsepower can I expect from a tune?

RE: How much horsepower can I expect from a tune?
With my mods and using my 96 tune I went from 230 to 260 and increased my fuel economy. I was still using fuel maps with increased timing from my 96 and had my PI eninge plus the other mods. It really helped me a lot BUT your gains will be a lot less; maybe around 15.

I don't see how people are claiming better fuel economy from a tune. The factory tune runs a A/F ratio of 14.7:1 which desired for complete burn. With a performance tune the A/F ratio is usually around 13.2:1 to 12.5:1 which is richer but provides the best performance gains.
