Well if the O2 sensors before the cat's are unplugged then it will affect the running of your car dramatically, might not even run... Because they read the A/F mixture.

The sensors after the cats do nothing more than tell if the cats are still working properly. These are the ones in the pictures that you have taken. I'm guessing you are not the first owner of the car? Does it have any other mods on it?

My car runs fine, and one of mine is unplugged. I couldn't get my hand up there to plug it back in.

I'm the 2nd owner ad have been for about 2 months now, and it doesn't have any mods on it that I know of.

I had the car in getting transmition seals changed recently so i'm suprised the these plugs are unplugged. The car isn't running well in my opiion either, it pulls and drives well under acceleration but idles badly.

Is it quite easy to plug these back in or do things need to be removed?

previous owner probably had an O/R midpipe and when he sold it unbolted the pipe and put the stock one back on and just didn't plug the O2 sensors back in.

Shouldn't effect idle. Change your fuel filter, air filter, and pcv valve and see if that helps smoothen the idle out.

Ok I see, that's very helpfull. I'll need to go back under and have a look. At least I know they should be plugged in, so I can try sort it.

Hi guys,

Not had a chance to get under and try fix this (pressures of xmas time!) but I want to know if these following problems could be related to disconnectedO2 sensors.

Very poor fuel consumption. Around 250 Kilometres per full tank!!

And, random increase in revs at idle. It goes up to 2k randomly at idle, which is a pain in the **** when I put it in gear cause the car just jumps stupidy off a still start!!

Let me know your opinions so I know what to look out for!

Cheers,
