3rd Gear. . .

ok, i have been skipping 3rd gear going from 2nd to 4th because when i put my car into 3rd gear it grinds hardcore but does not do this going into anyother gear. . .whats the problem and whats the cost?

sounds like your 3rd gear syncro is shot not sure on how much it will be to fix

Its your synchros... If you're going to have it fixed and want to knock of a HUGE part of the price, I would recommend pulling the tranny yourself and taking it to the trans shop. Its probably gonna be around 150 - 250$ for the install if you pull the tranny yourself.
