It's unlikely to be a problem with the relay or relay socket, as there's just a single set of contacts for both lights. However loose or corroded wiring somewhere between the relay and the light isa likely cause.

id like to know this as well. my passenger side fog has always been dimmer then my drivers side. one night it looked alot brighter but now its dim again.

add me to that list. my passenger side fog light does the same thing. changed the bulb and its still dim..... ?

It has to be a voltage drop on that side.The wire size or a bad connection could cause that.

Yeah, Its ticking me off. It must be a problem with a certain component somewhere if there are multiple issues of this happening. When i had it unplugged the pigtail looked fine. No corrosion or anything. But as i said before, when the lights are off, that fog light looks darker on the inside. Maybe the reflective coating is coming off?

run u a seperate groundto see if it gets brighter,if it does,bad ground

[align=left]Make sure the fog light assmembly itself doesn't have gunk in it. I had to take my whole assembly out and re seal it so water and gunk wouldn't get into my fog light. Becuz one of my fog lights were brighter than the other.
