Default replacing dipstick tube

Well I put an 03 GT motor in my 97 GT. When I put it in the dipstick got a kink in it. I finally decided to go ahead and put a new one in. I put LT's on when I did the swap. I already have to k member dropped, but i figured id ask just to make sure. The motor mount and header has to come off so I dont kink it like I did the first time right? Thanks
