No he wont. The WRX's at my track runs some shi**y times. I dont think he will have a problem at all except the launch. But you would always take him quicker from a 40 mph roll in second gear... right in your powerband.
yea that is how i would predict it...this race would not happen for a while, but i was just curious what would happen since he is talking all shat and he swears it is faster because it has 4 wheels pushing it Ill ask him for a dig first and then from a roll...of course he is going to up his game tho, all he needs is a boost controller and it is going to get a little tougher. Then i will have to start piling the bolt-ons.

Gears alone would do it easily. No slicks necessary. That would just boost the WRX guys ego.

Yeah. Definetly... Espically if you have the right tires. But just 4.10's would give you a lot more push up top. 3.27's just seem like they take FOREVER to whind up.

you should win this race. but, like stated above, he will own you from the dig, then you will pass him up, before the top end. dont worry about it unless he does put on a boost controller. even then tho, he better be good at an AWD launch. ive beaten many WRX's. i havent yet raced an STi,so i cant say anything about that yet. are you completely stock?? i have a few minor bolt ons, i just recently did the Bullitt swap, and i was beating WRX's,in stock form, at the track with my stock gears. using street tires too boot.

(this is no way slander on WRX's i used to sell them, i like them, for snow use. this is also not shyte talking bad about them either they are quick, but just like any other stock car, they can be made faster.)have fun.

P.S.- why would using drag radials boost his,the WRX,ego? isnt he having to use AWD and a Turbo, Just to race a mustang? you dont see many 2.5 RS's out there challenging a Mustang to a race, do you?? just asking not slamming, lol.
