WRX wants some

RE: WRX wants some
If you are a capable driver and the cars are stock vs. stock there is absolutely no way you should lose in a 1/4 mile. As far as getting ripped out of the hole, I do not think that will happen either. Every published time I have seen for 0-60 mph for WRX's are in the high 5 second range, which puts it slower than even a stock mustang and the mustang also traps usually around 6+ mph faster in the quarter.

this guy is hilarious tho..he is talking about the same topic as that thread in the kill section. "You car has double the displacement and it is still close" why won't these fools realize that it takes a turbo for them to get close..just like how it takes us turbos to get close to the power of a v12. Idiots.

That means 2002-2003 models, unless it's an imported 2001 which is highly doubtful. I could be wrong but I think only the 2002-2003 models have the "bug-eye" headlights. Anyway my statement stands, if you are a good driver you have a chance of taking him out at the top end, but don't get discouraged because he'll get you out of the hole.
That is unless he's a crappy driver.

It'll be a close race when he gets used to that 5 speed.

Because the turbo is the displacement equalizer.
