How much am i looking at if i want to swap a pi motor into my 98gt? i know how much i can get a motor for, but i wanna know how much labor and all the bells and whistles cost (alternator, power steering pump, wires/hoses, or the Mass air unit) when swapping engines. any help greatly appreciated

I put an 03 Pi motor in my 97. Straight drop in. I got the motor for 1200 with everything from drain plug to the computer....although I didnt use the harness or he computer. The motor had 33k on it.You dont need to chang anything when doing it. Just put it in

PI motors from salvage yards normally come with alternators and Accesories. Use the stock W/H and ECU and keep the 2 coils and plug wire setup. There's a lot of hassle associated with a full swap (meaning ecu W/H and Fuel rails) Short and sweet is think of the PI motor as exactly the same long block, take the old one out put the new one in. IF you have and USE your A/C just unbolt it from the block and pull it to the side.

I did my swap for under 1500 with a motor that only had 32k on the clock. (and it can with a trans)
