Default Cylinder heads??

I have a 03 gt and want to do a 4v swap how hard would this be? Do the heads just bolt up? Do the 96 to 98 4v heads bolt up? What works?

Default RE: Cylinder heads??

Ill make this short. It would be easier/cheaper to do an entire 4v engine swap. The resulting sub 9:1 CR from a 4v head swap would suck for ann/a application. So, yes the heads will bolt up, but there is a ton of extra work/parts required....

What about an FI application? I never really looked into this as a feasible option, and wtf would you do about the valve timing?

You'd still have the crappy 2v rods and pistons, so in an f/iapplication you would'nt see much benefit.

As for the valve timing, you would need the complete 4v camshaft timing setup, 4v ECU, intake manifold, throttle/cruise cables, the list goes on...
