Follow these steps and you'll be fine.

1. Get a friend
2. Have friend press brake pedal while you let fluid out of one caliper. Doesn't matter which one you start with.
3. Tell him to depress the pedal. Loosen the fitting and release air and fluid.
4. Repeat process on that caliper until you have NO air. You must have a steady stream of fluid.

Don't let him let up on the pedal until you have re-tightened the fitting!

5. Check your brake fluid! Don't let it run out or you'll suck in air thru your master cylinder.
6. Move to the next caliper. Repeat.
7. Check your fluid again.
8. Repeat on all four calipers.

It does'nt matter which one you start with since each caliper has a seperate brake line.

no im not sure how to do it on a mustang but i know some vehicles you have to hook up a scan tool and run the ABS module so the valves move in it and moves the air through the lines so you can bleed it out the calipers.
Ehhh WRONG! TWO STRIKES FOR YOU! Yes you can get air up into the ABS solonoid. All it takes is for you to turn the ignition to the acc position or start the car to release the pressure of the pedal, which is the only way to figure out that you have no brakes! No scan tool is needed. What are you talink about? I had the same problem and my master cylinder did not get too low!

I told you how to do it yet you haven't listened. Bleed the master cylinder first and then bleed the front calipers. Do the rear after the fronts and then do the fronts again!
actually hes rite, maybe not for a mustang im not sure i havent had to bleed my brakes yet. but for some cars you DO need a scantool to bleed the brakes.
