Help diagnose this sound
I have noticed an on and off sound from the engine bay since I owned the car, but seems to be getting a little more noticeable now. It only happens under load, while accelerating. If I have it in neutral and rev the engine, it doesn't do it. THe best I can describe it is a metalicy buzzing sound and it happens at around 1900-2200 and only in that RPM range. Not sure if it's transmission related or not, but I do have a noticeable sound in addition to this that I think is what you'd call flywheel chatter. If I let off the clutch pretty quick and accelerate under a load, there's a clattering chatter when I first accelerate. But anyways if anyone knows what the metalic type buzzing sound might be, I'd like to know. the car runs very very well, no hesitation, idles smoothly, pulls very strong, all of that. 75K miles on the car. thanks
