That should help. It's based toward an LS1, but still. It's general knowledge.

I went with a dry kit b/c the stock computer pulls fuel and timing. It's easy to install and use. My stock injectors and pump are good enough to handle up to a 150 shot. I'm not sure about 2v's though.

Forged internals and hardened valve train. That much of a shot on an otherwise stock engine could have a nasty outcome.

Generally you at least want to upgrade your pistons if you want that big a shot if nitrous. You'll fry the sh@t out of cast pistons with a 200 shot. I'd beef up the bottom end and make sure you don't run lean and as long as you follow the directions you shouldn't have any problems. Have fun fillin' up the bottle though...

I bumped mine to a 175 shot and shattered a connecting rod. On a stock motor, I wouldn't go over a 125 shot.

Don't forget about the rest of your drivetrain either...tranny, rear...etc 200 shot is a fairly serious boost for stock.

there's a local guy with a 150 dry shot on his stock GT engine. He hasn't sprayed it much at the 150 but he usually sprays 100 or 125 and said he's had no problems yet. He ran a 7.8 with 150 shot and a 8.2 with 100 shot in the 1/8th
