Default esclispe turbo in a mustang?

this is prolly a dumb question, anyway a friend of mine took her turbo out of her older eclispe becuase she was scared of it... I don't know don't ask. So my question is can I still the lil F@#$@ in my stang and make any sort of gain or is it just to small and useless. My friend has a v6 esclispe thats my second use if I can't put it in mine.

Why don't you get one from proficientperformance.com. I dunno if it will work. Try there if not.

If you really wanted to make it work, you could do it, but you would need so many new/hard to find parts, it'd prolly almost be cheaper to get a turbo kit specially made for your stang. Besides I would imagine after you intsalled, your gains would be less than satisfying since that turbo is designed for a much smaller motor.

it's a TD04 turbo. one of the smallest on the market. i guess you could make it work, but you wouldn't really get much of anything out of it. i don't even they can make 300 whp on an eclipse.

Uhhh could you make it work??? Im no expert, not at all but that turbo is made for like 2 liters of a 4 cylinder, not a 281 CI v8.

Well plus i dont see how you could put one turbo on a v8, he would have to get another like snail and then go from there. But like said before the 2g eclipse turbos are so small the power gains would not be worth it because youd have to have custom exhaust manifolds made, boost controller, fuel controller, upgrading the entire fuel system, custom oil/coolant delivery/return lines and much more. All this = much much $$$$$$$
