RE: HID installation question
hey sorry im too lazy to read the whole post but i hope this helps... this is my wiring for the headlights
and where it says light 1 and light 2 that goes to the bulb, the ballast, and the ground(mine are bi xenon.....the fogs are just plug and play no wires to a ground or to the battery....
here are where i mounted mine(all hidden when put back together)....
passenger side in front of the air box(the wire from the dirvers side is run underneath the grille delete piece)
drivers side, down udner the black radiater cover, there is an existing screw, and the nut supplied with the HIDs worked on it perfectly
fog lights, if you can make out the picture, is right behind the lights on the bumper, i just drilled holes up and used nuts and bolts
anymore questions let me know...i just did tis like a week ago...you'l love em what temps did you get btw?

RE: HID installation question
my dad got HID fog's for his SRT-8 and we got a couple of sheet rock screws and drilled them to the fenderwell's and then we got some side cutters and trimmed the extra on the screws so it wouldnt hit the time and they have been on there for 22,000 miles havent had one problem with them

RE: HID installation question
It all looked pretty simple, but I just wanted to make sure. I'm great with mechanical stuff (I've installed everything on my car myself, even the gears) but not as confident with electrical things. I'm probably going to install them tomorrow after work, it all looks pretty self explanitory. My kit is a plug and play, and I'm sure I'll be able to figure it all out.
Thanks for the help and the suggestions on where to mount the ballasts.
I got the 6000k kit for the headlights and foglights.

RE: HID installation question
the hardest part is deff. mouting the ballasts everything else just clicks right in. they look badass too! Make sure you mount the fog lights secure, one of mine fell out driving down the road and i ran that thing over! [:@]
