Default HID installation question

I just got my HID foglights and headlights in the mail and was wondering if anyone knew how to install these things. I'm not sure on where and how to mount the ballasts and if I need to run a power cord from the battery or not. Any help will be much appreciated, I'm probably going to attempt this tomorrow (Dec. 25).

Its not hard, I was reading up on it. I found a link that applies to the 99 and up cars as to where to mount the ballast. Pull off that plastic cover over the radiator/core support and there should be two bolts that you can mount the ballasts too. You do have to run a wire to the battery. What kit did you get?

The one from the member "androds" on here. Seems like a good kit, has Xenon bulbs and Tenon ballasts. I don't know anything about these kits, but it seems good to me.

Could you do me a favor and post that link you found?

Make sure you mount the ballasts as far away from heat as you can or you'll be getting new once in a couple of months and if you got the right kit it should just clip in to the stock locations

Ok, thanks.

And yeah, it all just looks like everything clips into place, but I do not see where or how to connect it to the battery. No power cable came with the kit, so I'm not even sure I need to.

Didn't you get instructions with the kit???

That would be the most logical place to figure out how to install them then asking here...?...

If the kit contained instructions, I would not be posting asking for information. [8D] Of course I checked that first.

stock headlight power supply----------------->ballast--------------->bulb. if its plug n play, nothing gets connected to the battery. cant get any easier. hardest part is finding a place to put the ballasts.

There should be atleast 1 wire drawing power directly from the battery, then there should be plugs connecting into 1 of the headlamp plugs (to know when to turn on and off) the foglamps connect directly into the oem foglamp plugs tho.
