reverse is NOT straight cut. it is helical. so who ever said it is straight cut, you are wrong.

shift into 4th and then into reverse
+1 although any gear will should work. And sometimes it just takes a quick slam into R, it will have a slight crunch but no grind.
I have been told that its not as much the lack of a syncro, but the reverse gear is straight cut.
this is the exact opposite of what you should do... read your manual, this is why so many tremecs are fukd up, you need to shift into a forward gear before shifting into reverse... dont slam it or force it for goodness sakes, it should go in like butter... cmon people[>:]
Umm not sure, but all of the gears except for reverse in my car are forward driving gears. And I've driven mustangs that no matter how many times you put it into the other gears it still requires a little force to get it into R.

And incubus, thats just what someone told me.
