Default Shock and Strut help!!!

So Santa was kind enough to order me H&R race springs...... Now I dont know what a good shock and strut combo would be. I'm thinkin lakewood, but I just don't know. I want a street/strip type of setup. Anybody got some insight for me?

I had KYB AGX adjustables on my GT. I was very satisfied with them. I could drive them hard on the street and then lower them when I got to the track. I think that Strange or KYB AGX would be your best bet for street/strip.

If you have the $$$, I would suggest going Bilsteins or if you want adjustability, Tokico D-specs. The H&R race springs have a pretty aggressive spring rate. You need a quality shock/strut to control that much spring rate.

KYB is a good choice.

Don't know about the last two questions, but if your going with a 1.8-2" drop, I would go with the Bilstein shock and strut setup. I have the KYB adjustable ones on my 96 Saleen and they suck horribly. I don't know why the previous owner switched out the racecraft suspension with them, but they are crap if you something for the street/strip. I have plans to switch back to the factory Racecraft suspension from Saleen or either Bilsteins. JMO.
