Between $2,500 and $3,600, depending on what you want. You can get just about any blower for about $3,000, but if you want supreme quality, get a Kenne Belle, they cost about $3,600. You can seriously ramp up your HP with a KB blower. </P>
Just uh, make sure the bottom end of your engine (crank, pistons, rods, rings) can handle the pounding of all that forced induction.</P><edited><editID>USAMuscle</editID><editDate>37895.8748726852</editDate></edited>

i read somewhere on <FONT color=#008000>www.seanhylandmotorsport.com/</FONT> that bottom end on the 2V 4.6 is good for up to 400-450horses. connecting rods and pistons being the limiting factor. the cobra i think is good for up to 750 as it has forged components.

Yeah the problem is pistons, but that's a major factor in an engine so it definitely can't be overlooked. I've read about guys bolting up a blower to their stock 4.6's, and 9 times out of 10 a piston is the first thing to go, usually a ring land, and it doesn't take that long at all. My advice, if you're going to install a blower, take your car off the road for as long as it takes, and rebuild the bottom end with forged internals, and stronger rods. You will just save yourself a huge headache down the road.
