Lowered w/ Longtubes
Hey everyone.I am thinking about lowering my car, but i'm not sure how low to go.I have long tubes and I really dont want to mess them up by bottoming out.I'd really like to get sportlines but i think that will be to low.Just wondering what springs other guys with l/t' have and how often you scrap? Thanks

RE: Lowered w/ Longtubes
pro kit, or any lowering equivalent is what i would go with. i think sportlines would be too low. i have them and I scrape with the stock midpipe all the time, so you def. will sometimes with longtubes
sportlines do look awesome though, IMO |
RE: Lowered w/ Longtubes
i have coilovers and my car is about 1/2 inch lower now then when I had sportlines and my longtubes dont scrape.

I scrape with stock springs.

RE: Lowered w/ Longtubes
sportlines and BBK LTs here, you just have to be extra careful and go over any large bumps in the road at an angle.

RE: Lowered w/ Longtubes
Sportlines and bbk longtubes also, never had any problems bottoming out.

RE: Lowered w/ Longtubes
i have BBK lt's and the eibach pro kit and i scrape my midpipe over almost any speed bump and have hit my headers on stuff a few times but nothin too serious...yet lol

RE: Lowered w/ Longtubes
I had a 2" drop and lts and have never had any problems. . . But it was too low for my tastes so thats why i went with a 1 1/2" now
