Default Concerns with the SCT X3

So I orderd the SCT Xcalibrator 2 from stangsuspension.com and they called me and said the SCT X3 was taking the place of the SCT Xcalibrator 2. Does anybodyhave experiencewith the X3 yet?

1 more thing. i have a 2002 GT with JLT CAI, Accufab TB & IP, and full bassani exhaust. Do I need a custom tune yet or will one of the preloaded tunes be fine??? Thanks for the help

i have the x3 and i love it. as for the custom tune, you are FAR off from needing that , but if they offer you a free tune , it never hurts. the gain wont be significant enough , or you setup wont be out of tune , until you get some serious mods. if its gonna costyou more than 10-15 dollars , save your money. pre-tunes will work fine.

Sweet. Preciate it.

What kind of significant mods would need a tune though? Like a blower or cams? Something big like that i guess, right?

Pretty much.

Kinda off topic, but how do you like your full Bassani exhaust? On a scale of 1-10 how loud is it?

I'm always been in love with bassani. I've had it on 5 out of 7 mustangs. I'd probably give it an 8 for loudness and 12 for badassness.... but thats my opinion.

I have an X3, too. It gives a little more than an Xcal2 I'm told. I never used an XCal2 so I can't personally compare, though.
