Default Noise level on SLP Loudmouth I

Pennsylvania code states that it is illegal to operate teh vehicle with the exhaust system that is louder than 90 db. Does anyone know what is the noise level on a 1999 GT equiped with that system (SLP1) and all other parts stock. Thanks ! How can you measure the noise level?

i dont know about the db level but the 1's are VERY loud because you are basically running straight pipes.

A lot louder than 90 db. I would bet that most aftermarket catbacks are louder than 90db.

I wouldn't worry about noise levels from exhaust. Do you honestly think a cop goes around with a dB meter checking how loud your exhaust is? Only time you'd have a problem is if you are sitting at a gas station or something revving the thing and a cop drives by and sees you. Basically, put on the exhaust you want and think sounds the best but don't drive around trying to set off car alarms and being a r-tard.

I would think they are right around ninety dB because most ATVs with exhaust are just over 90 and my car doesnt sound as loud to me... like all the motorcycles in PA arent over 90 anyways!!
