Default Broken passenger side mirror

Some dumb@ss truck clipped my passenger side mirror and broke it!

I was stuck in traffic and he decided to try and get around everyone by going down the parking lane. Unfortunately, when he hit my mirror I was boxed in so I couldn't chase him since he just sped away!

I found a mirror on E-bay for $44 but before it gets here I wanted to find out how I remove and replace the mirror! Can anyone give me a step by step?

Thanks!

John

Default RE: Broken passenger side mirror

easy, i'll write the stepsfor the mach system, if you dont have the system then unscrew the cover and skip on down to 3 and go from there.

1. apply light pressure to the tweeter cover, it will just pop off.
2. ussing a phillips head, unscrew the tweeter housing from the door (2-3 screws)
3. there is a connector that needs to be removed that powers the mirror, simply disconnect.
4. three 10mm nuts retain the mirror to the door, unbolt them and its out.

the connector may be a little hard to get to and removing the nuts first may give you more access to it. its not hard by any means and the toughest step is removing the speaker cover because its a PITA
