ok lets see what a great suspension will do with rock hard tires. oh yeah still nothing, you seem to forget that tires are the last line to launching and really they are everything.

As to the OP's question about why 4.10's break more traction than 3.27's- it is all about torque multiplication.
The lower your gearing is (higher numerically) the more you are multiplying your engines torque through the drivetrain- this torque multiplcation is why it is easier to get a car going in 1st instead of 2nd or 3rd- your engine has the same amount of torque, but the lower gearing multiplies it more. When you put gears in, you increase the torque multiplication for every gear, but it is most evident in 1st and 2nd- Hence you break the tires free easier.
