Default exhaust smoke

Every time I crank my car especially when it's cold, smoke comes from the exhaust. It's not a ton of smoke but it's a good bit. It usually smokes a little even when it's fully warm. What could this be and what can I do about it?
thanks

it is probly your vavle seals leaking a little. you can put in a heavier weight old but that is only a band aid for the problem

water vapor is a by-product of the combustion process, when that vapor hits the cold air it condenses, which is probably the smoke that you're seeing. in other words, it's normal

+1 are you sure its not steam. You exhaust system also retains moisture in the metal itself and when hot exhaust flows though it, it heats up the metal and generates steam. Thats why you will mostly see it when the car is cold. My car smokes a little after the o/r pipe, and it only has 16k on it. I wouldn't worry about it unless its excessive.

It is the cold time of year. This is normal.

If you can see smoke come out of your mouth when you breathe, just imagine what it is like for an engine.

Ususally with boosted, or custom tuned applications, you will see a little black smoke. I know mine does. That may be caused from rich conditions. Mine smokes pretty regularly. As long as it's not white or blue, you are probably ok. But it's probably just steam.

black is rich, white is a lean condition. and that constant white vapor is normal.

i take it you live down south where its rarely cold. cuz everywhere else, its VERY, i mean VERY common.

The smoke is pretty white but it smells rich. Still normal?

White could be antifreeze and it'll have a sweet/tart smell to it.
