Default Question about GEARS???

what kind of gears should i get for my 2003 Mustang GT 3.73, 3.90, or 4.10???
the mods on my mustang include JBA shoty headers, MAC offroad H-pipe, MAC cold air intake, Melatone Exhaust, STEEDA tri-ax short shifter, and suspension.

I say 4.10's no matter what transmission! Especially with your shorties, these will get you in the upper rpm's where they start flowing really good.

410s...most fun iv had in my car so far.

i drive highway all the time and its about the same gas milege. hinestly i keep my foot out of it MORE now than i did before. i use 5th all the time so my rpms are usualy under or at 2k in the city, on the highway im at like 2500+ but who cares..

they are actually not that bad at all on the highway, at 80mph, its at 2600-700 RPMs and I have driven more than once about 130 miles and I only wasted a little over a 1/4 of tank soooooo yea! 4.10s FTW! I drove in my buddies with 3.73's and it doesnt pull as hard but he has a little more umph in fourth gear where I max out but w/e acceleration is key to me.

are you serious? 355's for an auto?

gears are all preference. it depends on what all your gonna do to your car, how much you car about loosing an extra couple mpg, etc...
