This is kinda a long one but if anyone can help it would be great. I got my car a few months ago and the dealer told me nothing about what was done and I thought i had figured out all of the mods on my car but came across something today. I saw a post on how to install a pi intake manifold. My black plastic manifold looks exactly like the PI one in this pic. (the left) http://img482.imageshack.us/img482/4489/dsc06304ox1.jpg. Heres another, http://img401.imageshack.us/img401/143/dsc06303ou4.jpg I haven't taken anything off to get a better look but from a good angle i can see that the bottom of the manifold reaches all the way down like in this picture -> http://img187.imageshack.us/img187/8303/dsc06319po5.jpg The spot on the top of the manifold where it meets the plenum is also tall like on the PI manifold as shown in the first picture.
The thing that im a little unsure of is that those pics are from a 2001 mustang gt and I have a 2003, so I was unsure if Ford might have changed the stock manifold between 2001 and 2003. If they didnt i would assume that i have the PI manifold thats shown in the pic, right?

My other question was how can i tell if i have PI heads or not? I know this stuff may seem amateur, but the dealer kinda left me in the dark on this one, it took me around a month to tell i had 3.73's

Alright, so that was totally newb material haha, 30 more seconds of research yielded an answer, i misread and it turns out those pics are from a 96 or somethin or other. So like i figured, the guy was putting a stock 01-03 manifold on an older stang. my bad lol

99-04 all have PI intakes with PI heads
