Default Motor rebuilt? (Please Help!)

Other than my 03 gt i have a 96 thunderbird with the 4.6 non pi motor in it. It leaks oil from every possible place. it has around 150,000 miles. where can i get the motor rebuilt or do you think i could get away with resealing the engine and putting some pi heads on it or would the bottom end need to be redone if i did this. any info would be very helpful. I live in the Louisville,Kentucky area if that helps anyone know of places to take it.

You need to specify what "everyplace" is. If it is merely the topend- if the valveseals are shot, gaskets etc that is causing the oil leak, then putting PI heads on it would solve the problem- for now.

With 150k on the clock, you really would need to do a compression test to see how the piston rings are holding up.

Plus, if you squirt oil into the combustion chamber after doing the compression test, then do the test again and compression went up, then the cylinder walls have scouring on them that is causing a loss of compression.

Would need more info to really know for sure what you need.
