Do 1997 GT's come with a shock tower brace?

Do 1997 GT's come with a shock tower brace?
I was just wondering. My mustang has a shock tower brace and I was looking at other 1997 gt's on ebay and they don't have a shock tower brace. Did they come with these cars as a option?

it is either 96 or 97 that they stopped putting strut tower braces on them. i know for sure its before 98. i believe 97 has them though.
