One of my fog lights has water in it so I ordered a replacement. My question is do I have to remove the front bumper to install the entire fog light assembly or do I jack up the car or what. I would like any info u have because the yellow tank full of algae that used to be my fog light looks horrible! Thanks in advance.

Just jack it up and unbolt them from the rear. I believe it's three bolts.

Yeah I think you have to take off the bumper because the bolts on the other side are a pain to reach. I'm just going to go with a cobra front, I gave up on switching them for that reason alone.

It's really not that hard. The two bolts above the housing are a pain to get back in, but that's the hardest part. There is one bottom bolt that you get from under the bumper. You will need a long extension and I think they are 10mm bolts, maybe 8mm.
I had to tape the bolt to the socket when I re-installed the top twoto keep from dropping them.

Def a little bit of a pain to get to, but definatly not worth taking the bumper off. It should be one bolt that hold the light into the fixture, and the bracket you dont need to take off if your replacing it with an oem replacement

Okay, I was hoping that there was a way to remove the splash guard in the wheel well to get to them easily, but I like a challenge.Thanks for the replies.

its not a pain at all to do.. all i had to do on my 01 gt was jack it up and come from behind its been a few months since i did it but i dont recall any bolts really maybe im wrong though

dude, 3 bolts and you're done, i did mine and top 2 bolts are def a pita
