Well my Saleen has blown an exhaust gasket on the driver side. Will I be able to replace this by just taking the header off the head or will I have to remove the header completely?

You really need to have a decent amount of room to work in, you need to scrape any left behind gasket or any crap thats stuck on the head. I don't see why you would have to drop the header to replace the gasket though
