Hey Tech Heads!
I have an opportunity to pick up a KB blower cheap. I have a 96 Cobra.
1st question. I have over 100,000 mi on the engine. Would it handle it or should I swap for forged pistons, rods, etc. and change bearings before hand?
2nd question. If it would handle it, what all would I have to change other than the obvious like intake, fuel injectors, fuel pump...?
I have done some investigation on centrifugal blowers but don't know a whole lot about root-style blowers. Thanks for any info in advance.

RE: Hey Tech Heads!
you'll need injectors.. the 42lb green tops work great, along with a mass air for them.
try and get a 255lph pump.. lots of guys use the focus svt pump, not sure on the cobras but the 96- 98 GTS have a return line fuel system, if you do too you have more options.. Holley makes a mustang forced induction 255lph pump that works for 99down cars..
You will need the stock pulleys..
a set of plugs.. ngk TR6 @ .032 work good..
