it shouldnt make a difference. the computer should be able to compensate for normal little bolt ons. plus, its after the MAF, so there should be zero issues.

ORIGINAL: bighvygt

so ive herd that the 75 lets in too much air and when the computer adj the air fuel ratio that the stock injectors cant handle all the air and runs them up too full duty, is that true. also more air in means more fuel in to compinsate so does your mpg get worse? also does the computer self adj even though i have a diablo dune on the car or am i going to have to rejust everything? sorry for all the questions but i dont want to waste my money on somthing thats not worth it.
So I asked these questions on an earlier post a few days ago. 75 is the largest you can go on a stock engine. It is not going to hurt your engine, you are probably just not going to notice much gain unless you upgrade more. I just ordered the professional products 75 mm tb/plenum combo. I have not installed it yet but I REALLY like the looks of it. As far as performance goes, they are all going to do the same thing. The price really comes from the brand name[:@] As someone said before, you will eventually want to upgrade the rest of your intake parts. I paid $240 shipped! I'm installing it this Saturday, so I'll let you know how it goes.

You're going to pay pretty much the same price for a 70mm as you are a 75mm, so you might as well get the bigger one. If you have read anywhere that 75mm is too big, bad for your car, they are completely wrong. All dyno charts I have seen, the 75mm will give you just a little bit more HP, but not a huge gain. Bottom line is, the TB/Plenum combo is a cheap and easy add-on for HP. And in all reality, it's not the HP that's the biggest benefit from the bigger TB, but it's the response you will get when you step on the pedal, it will set you back in your seat more than with your stock one. I installed it on mine a few years ago, and never regretted it. I have the Accufab combo, but choose what you want. They are all very close in performance.
