battery relocation

Sounds like a lot, but I used every bit of it! It started where the battery originally was, went through the firewall grommet, down the driver side kick panel, underneath the driver door sill, across where the back seat was to the passenger side, up into the trunk and to the battery.
How much did you use and how did you route it?
For the guy that used 17 feet of cable what the hell did you wire up-- A semi truck, man thats a lot of cable to run for a mustang

I don't remember I think it was like 8 or 10 feet, I ran it from the trunk down under the pass. side and up to the motor.
and the ground is like maybe 16"

RE: battery relocation
I do not have a sealed box. I got a $10 battery tray and hold down from Advance. I spent $10 for the tray and hold down, $25 for the 2 gauge wire, $5 for the negative cable, and $25 for the used optima red top. All in all, about $65 with battery and all.
Took about 5 minutes... It's the same wiring as going down the passenger side. Does the passenger side have a grommet in the firewall?
Thats a lot of extra work.
