Default 03 GT rear end noise

I know it is under warranty and havent had the time to take my car to the dealer yet. I have a 2003 mustang GT manual tranny with 30k miles on it. My dad got the car new and just recently signed it over to me. The rear end makes a whine noise as I turn corners in gear and this started a long time ago according to my dad. It started quite some time ago, and has significantly gotten worse. I am just wondering if anyone knows what the problem could be and if anyone else has had the same type of issue. My car as it sits is completely stock. Thanks!

the problem lies in the fact that is under warranty and I am on leave (im in the air force) and am back home. however I have to drive clear across the country and by the time I get there I may be out of waranty, as I have a few more than 30k miles and the 2000+ miles I have to drive may put me over the limit. Also I only have a week left here and I am trying to figure out what I should do. If it is something that wont take long I will either take it in and get it fixed or do it myself. But if they are going to need the car longer than a week, I think im SOL. Just trying to get some opinions on what it may be that way I can atleast know what to expect when I hit the dealer.

Thanks!

-Brakes rubbing
-Gears
-Tire rubbing

Hrm, it just may be the posi. Ill have to rip some rubber as I leave the office and test it =)
On a more serious note though, this whole situation kinda sucks because I am on leave visiting my parents and such and right now I am working with the recruiter for the rest of the time I am here. Unfortunately I dont have a whole lot of time to do much of anything else, and getting the car to the dealer is going to be difficult. *sighs* And it doesnt help that the drive to my next base is going to put me out of warranty because then I would have the time to take care of it. Im sure I will figure something out though, although I do not like anyone else working on my car either than me or my dad.

Does it only do it when you are driving pretty slow, and you turn sharply? If you push in the clutch rolling about 30 MPH does it make a whooshing sound? The second sound is hard to hear, but it this describes it, then you probably have something incorrectly adjusted in there. I had to have my 3.73s reinstalled because the first dealer didnt properly shim em. My second install they told me if i had waited much longer it coulda ruined the rear end housing.
