Default 4.6L question

Hey guys, I am new to the post. I have just bought a 96 gt. Its got a 97 gt engine in it with underdrive pulleys, MAC x-pipe, 40series flowmasters, and a K&N ramair intake setup. I am wondering if there is any mods that can be done to this stang to increase power without buying more add ons. The reason I am asking is that I have had some other rides that there were tricks you could do like this. If not are there any other inexpensive mods that I can do now. I already have a Short throw shifter on the way and thinking of doing fuel system upgrades. Thanks.

Here's a site with some free mods you can do, not much for power, but some are cool. Free Mods
Get some gears for your next mod when you can afford them. Search this forum for info on gears (3.73s, 3.90s, 4.10s...mmm 4.30s), whatever you want. They will help out a lot. They'll run under $200 for gears, and $200-250 for install at a shop. Good luck, if you have any questions, feel free to ask me.

GEt a die grinder and port out your intake manifold. Takes alot of time but if you ever go supercharged the extra flow will help you make tremendous power. If not go get the bullitt intake

Thanks guys. I forgot to mention but I do already have 3.73 gears. I also have the original engine that I am going to P&P the heads and see if I can do any other tricks to it. Also, planning on getting the 5.0L stroker kit for it.

You should get the PI heads and have them P&P when you have the $. Definitley a good investment.
