Default how wide of rim

ok im thinking of geting 18x10 in the rear will the fit on a 98 gt vert?? and whats a good tire and size to go with?

yes it will fit as long as you dont do a IRS setup. a 285 or 295/35 will be fine

you wont need spacers a rim that wide your lugs wont fit right. they will look nice. my 18x9.5 look real nice and pop out a lil to give it the muscle look

not a problem...check out american muscle's customer ride page or choose a wheel you like and they have pics of other peoples rides to see if you like. thats if you didnt know that already

check american muscle i think when you select rims it'll tell you if it will fit on the car i.e give you tire sizes and it'll mentions spacers i think

funny because my buddies 03 cobra doesn't seem to have a problem with his 18x10's and nitto 305's..

funny cuz my uncles 04 does..he ran a 305 then had to switch to a 295 on his 18x10 fr500s

i have 18x10s on my 98gt. its also lowered an inch and a half. it works fine, except if u go over a good bump in the road. then itll rub a little on the inside and on the outside. i have a few rub marks/cuts on the rubber from the fender. I put in a spaceer in teh springs and it fixed the rubbing. car looks great with the wheels too.
