Default Car is lowered... alignment question.

I have ford C springs which is supposed to lower the car 1.2" in the front and 1" in the rear. I have Strange shocks and struts. After getting an aligment, I still have a little bit of lean with the wheels. Is there anythingI can do about this without having to buy c/c plates. I am under the impression that the car should be lowered 1.5" or lower to have to worry about c/c plates. Are the struts shorter than stock? Thanks in advance

you'll want to get some c/c plates due to the amount of camber produced by lowering the car

I have never used them personally but they will only adjust caster/camber to a certain point. You may fine yourself in the saem problme as you are in now! C/C plates adjust much more than these do. I was right at the end of adj. with my c/c plates and 1.5" drop

with my C springs, I am just right outside the "limits"... I have a bit of tire wear on the inside, but nothing too major..

I would just suggest going with the MM 4-bolt c/c plates..

i was wondering about this too. im getting the c springs soon just to drop it enough to get rid of that off-road look . i had heard the c springs didnt need c/c plates but i wasnt sure.

I think that you need C/C plates with the C springs. I have the C springsand I definitely need the C/C. My alignment is off really really bad. I think that I might have some other suspension problems besides needing C/C plates though. I haven't been able to have it properly aligned in about a year. Everywhere I take it, the alignment is good for about 100 miles then it is back to what it was.

I would suggest C/C plates. If the lean of the tire is enough to notice with the naked eye, then you are probably going to have a pretty good bit of uneven wear.

i have c springs with bulitt shocks and struts. ive had them on my car for about 20k miles with no unusual wear problems. I had a performance alignment place do my alignment and they used my stock plates for the adjustments by drilling out the rivets and moving them to where they needed to be. My question to you is did you go to a performance alignment shop or just a regular alignment place? Did you have your rivets on you stock plates drilled out? If you havent been to a performance alignment shop i recommend it and if you have been then i recommend cc plates.
