I'm not knocking the 90, it's what I have. My tuner, which is Doughboy's tuner, helped develop SCT's software and he's a retired ford engineer. I trust anything he says. Plus go on any of the other forums and read the horror stories about pushing a 90mm. I'm not saying the 90 can't handle 550 on average but by and large if you're making that kind of hp you NEED to upgrade to be sure. Case in point: Doughboy was racing a vette on a 50* night and pegged the maf and got a nice air conditioned block.

LMAF's are not calibrated for 42lb injectors , the ecm is .tuning is the same no matter what maf you use . I would keep the BA2400 w/ your hp . this is what SCT recommends for draw thru. blow thru systems would peg at a lower rwhp & twin screw/roots type would peg at a higher rwhp .

90mm LMAF - up to 425 rwhp
BA2400/2600 - 425-650 rwhp
BA2800/3000 - 650+ rwhp

I have a lmaf . when I datalog my MAF AD Counts they are above 900 ,max is 1023 , so I'm not to far from pegging & I have less than 425rwhp .

edit : oh and the LMAF is better than the others as far as stability & resolution . the BA2400 & BA2800 are made by granatelli .

if you run the MAF in the blow through configuration the range is smaller because of the smaller diameter piping, this can be compensated for by using a MAF extender. typically I believe this is about 80% of the draw through range.
