so installed my tb and it has been ideling high and sometimes it stays in one spot for a while so now my cel is on.
the code is p1506 idel control overspeed how can i fix this cuz the car is running like crap. i will let go of the gas and the car keeps running the same speed

Did you disconnect the battery for 5-7 minutes to clear the KAM (Keep Alive Memory) and let the computer re-learn the idle speed?

no i did not some one told me that if i did that that all it would do is turn the light off but the problem would still be there should i do that and go from there is there something i can do with my diablo tuner to adjust the idel because i do not see the idel thing on the tb

DTC P1506 points to a damaged or improperly installed/wired IAC. Here's a link to the possible causes from the '03 shop manual. No amount of KAM clearing or resetting the idle with a tuner will fix these problems. If you unplug the IAC at idle on a warmed up engine the idle speed should change. [/align][/align]If it does not change speedthen the IAC is bad or not being controlled properly.[/align][/align]Re:clearing the KAM, whoever told you it would only turn the SES off was wrong--the PCM stores short and long term fuel trims, idle speed trim, and other information related to variations in sensor outputs, etc. [/align]

when i got this tb from my friend he gave me his tps should i take that out and put mine on

It's not inconceivable that an incorrect or bad TPS could cause the problem, however the computer would most likely be reporting that as well. [/align][/align]Won't hurt to put yours on, but you need to check the IAC stuff on the shop manual list if that doesn't clear things up...[/align]

i cleaned the iac about three weaks ago i just installed the tb and this is happening

i always put new ones on, new tb & iac when i did my tb swap. just to be on thesafe side.
