Default 99-04 Vs. 05+

I know you guys probably get this question alot....however I'm interested to see what kind of numbers a lightly modded 2v will put down. Im looking at a 2003 GT with intake/93 tune/pullies/O/R prochamber/Mac 2.5" catback/4.10's. What kind or RWHP do you think this setup would make? How do you think it would fair againts a stock 3v? Thanks BTW post list of your mods (if not in sig) and say what kind of numbers your running (RWHP/1/4 ets).

PLENTY of people will post on this. Give it time.

250 to 260 hp and mid to low 13s.

A stock 3V has the edge....

well im not much help and you probably already knew this but a full bolt on new edge will beat a stock s197... but once you started adding stuff to that 3v, its no competition unless the new edge gets some other goodies..

With those mods I'd say the '03 would take it down to 100mph but after that S197 would pull hard on the reigns and start reeling it in, then bye-bye New Edge...

I've been asking the same question. I also have a 03 GT (manual). So far I have installedan intake spacer, flowmaster American Thunder cat back exhuast, o/r h-pipe (sounds awesome with the flows) and a K&N CAI system. Within the next two weeks I will be installing Richmond 3:73 gears a SCT tunerwith a Brenspeed tune. I've got a friend that has a 06 Mustang GT that want's to race. I have been told by some guys that I will take him expecially with the tune. Have you ever raced any 3v GT's? If so was it close?
