Default VT/Cushman Stage 1 cams w/auto tranny-post

Please post your year and mods-engine/power and what the cams did for your car. Low end loss? How much power if dyno'd. When do you shift, what rpm and is that due to the cams power dropping off? Gas mileage change?
I read that the cams have no low end loss and make great mid range power and can be reved to 6200rpm. True? Gas mileage change? Power or et change? Anything that might help, please. I have SHM #2730's which would be better suited to a stick car or a SC motor with .495"/.495" & 230*/230* on 114* LSA's. No low end and start to pull hard at 5000rpm whch is a bit high for a stock bottom end motor! Thanks for the feedback, good or bad!
