That sums it up.

The engine shop I talked to didnt have a head that woudl match the casting number on the one that came off my car.

So, I think I'm going to attempt to find a used head loaded with cam and valve train and etc...

Yea man, I'd at least be interested in the head if you're saying its a mid 01 with the improved threads for the plugs..

i dont know what a head is worth loaded and such, but im gonna do some looking around so everyone makes out alright

want the car running by the end of Febuary that way i dont have to buy a beater....brother gets the splaturn March 1st..

Im at school right now, but ill get my dad to look at those numbers for you. What numbers do u need, like the XR one or whatever. And as far as how much it is worth, I really dont care, just shoot me a offerif ur interested when I get those numbers for you.
