Hey guys I think I got some bad gas (water) I figured I'd run some dry gas through it but all these products just seem like glorified rubbing alcohol. Is this true???

ull be fine...put a bottle or two of dry gas in it..depending on how bad the water fill is....fill up with some really good gas.u trust..unless ur water is bad drain the take (meaing pull it out and suck all the gas/water out of it..)

But is it safe to run just straight alcohol through it??

why would u run just St8 alchohol.... ur tank doesnt have JUST water in it...if it did youd be stupid not to drop the tank...... if its a mix of gas and water..(not to much water) dry gas and FRESH gas..togeather would be fine...wouldnt romp on it til it cleans it self up alil

Yes it is safe to run isopropyl alcohol through it. Have you guys ever seen the Heet line of products for gas line antifreeze? Same thing. However, I dont see a need for it. I would just by the Heet stuff for like 50cents per bottle.

mariotraci, I do drive a mustang not a funny car dry gas is somewhere around 95% Isopropyl alcohol
