Well if your willing to hold out and scrape up a little more money a set of 3.73 or 4.10 rear and gears will really wake up the inner beast.... I got mine for 400$ installed and couldnt be happier with the sheer acceleration improvement
hmmm
i was thinking about 3.73 or 4.10 gears...but you see i am 16, and i don't think my dad would want me to get any severe go fast parts about now....how about a tuneable induction intake or something?

I still say go with under drive pulleys and some weld in mufflers if you don' have any. you'll get some power you can feel + better sound and to top it off a small bump in gas mileage.

If you're not going to go with gears then how about a tunable induction intake with some steeda pullies? Granted you will to spend about 50 or so bucks more but I think you'll be happy with a 15-20 hp gain.

Just tell you're dad that your gears are wearing out, and you need to replace them. If you have parents who don't know anything about cars, you can get away with anything, trust me, I know . Tell you're dad that it will help you to get better gas mileage, lol. Which is complete bs, but worth it.

You actually can increase gas mileage if you don't always get on it with higher gears, but that usually doesn't happen with testosterone behind the wheel

in reference to the tuneable induction intake....
fenderwell or engine compartment and why?

will pulleys make my power steering slower?

Go with CAI (I spent $204 shipped on my K&N FIPK as my first mod and couldn’t be happier) first. Either FIPK or Densecharger are your best bet for performance, as it relates to CAI’s. Next, I go with Exhaust, but since we’re working with roughly $300 here, you’ll spend between $150 & $200 in the CAI, leaving roughly a hundy left to play with. That being said, I’d spend the remainder on either pulleys or gears (3.73'S are my recommendation). Both run slightly more than $100, but there’s not much else you can get for less than a hundred-spot. Good luck and enjoy!

Well with any intake I'd suggest going with the fenderwall and the reason is that you're bringing in cooler air rather than the much hotter air under the hood. Lots of guys will tell you it doesn't matter but I'd rather have the air come from outside the engine compartment. I'm not sure about the power steering, but you probably wouldn't notice that much of a difference at all.

Yeah I'm putting some 4.10s on it in about a week. Installation is gonna be FREE cause my uncle is doing it for me. I've got some master bearings coming in the mail pretty soon and I'll be all set. Thanks for the compliment on the car too
