in reference to the tuneable induction intake....
fenderwell or engine compartment and why?

will pulleys make my power steering slower?
Well with any intake I'd suggest going with the fenderwall and the reason is that you're bringing in cooler air rather than the much hotter air under the hood. Lots of guys will tell you it doesn't matter but I'd rather have the air come from outside the engine compartment. I'm not sure about the power steering, but you probably wouldn't notice that much of a difference at all.

Yea, when I get my 3.73s put in in a couple of days im not going to be able to keep my foot off the floor. Damn kubball2005, your car is NICE. I love the white/black theme. Awesome car. You putting some gears in that beast soon?
Yeah I'm putting some 4.10s on it in about a week. Installation is gonna be FREE cause my uncle is doing it for me. I've got some master bearings coming in the mail pretty soon and I'll be all set. Thanks for the compliment on the car too
Lucky! Im dishing out 5 bills for my clutch/gears install...shops suck[:'(]

I still say go with under drive pulleys and some weld in mufflers if you don' have any. you'll get some power you can feel + better sound and to top it off a small bump in gas mileage.
what type of weld in mufflers do you all reccommend? and how much does labor run....

I don't know. JLT is underhood ...and they say 9 peak hp gain and 12tq gain. I think i might just go with JLT.

all CAI are basically the same, but if you wanan see gains get a new Tb, plenum and MAM combo. Keep in mind all of this does nto fit your bidget. And don't weld in your mufflers. EVER! Especially into a stock catback system, complelety pointless. Just improves the sound, thats all.

Tuneable induction and a mac 70mm t/b.. You'll see some NICE throttle response.

I personally would buy some lowering springs and steel braided brake lines. You can ride or control a horse without a harness and reigns, let alone 260 of them!

Oh, yeah i'm sure you can find the lowering springs for under $200 also gives the car a meaner stance. I'm don't know exactly how much the braided brake lines are since they came with my car. You can read a little bit more about it in the newbie section (immaculate 99' GT).

Well if your willing to hold out and scrape up a little more money a set of 3.73 or 4.10 rear and gears will really wake up the inner beast.... I got mine for 400$ installed and couldnt be happier with the sheer acceleration improvement
hmmm
i was thinking about 3.73 or 4.10 gears...but you see i am 16, and i don't think my dad would want me to get any severe go fast parts about now....how about a tuneable induction intake or something?
im 16 too, gas mileage sucks dont it. i am only going with 3.73's if i go with gears... i need mileage cause i eat about 1/2 a tank a day from driving. it sucks *** big time. gears wont make you as fast as you think, but it will sure help out a ton... just dont tell him that it will make you much faster.... thats how i got springs, i told my dad that the car will have better aerodynamics and he let me get them. make up excuses, your 16, you should be able to think of something.
