Default KYB (Non-AGX)

Does anyone have the mid-grade KYB shocks/struts installed on their car? I am not referring to the AGX true adjustable model. My car is due for a suspension project and I need a few references.

Also, what kind of springs do you have installed? How is the ride comfort with these shocks/struts? Bouncy? Smooth?

Thanks all!

I have em' with FRPP C springs and it's a fairly sooth ride. Gonna swap em' out for the AGX's in the spring soI can have adjustables for street/track. All n' all they (KYB GR-2) are a decent strut/shock.

Very well, little harsher than stock setup!

I have H&R SS Springs, KYB AGX adjustables(eBay $300),Maximum Motorsports Caster Camber Plates, and the ride quality improved alot, softer on bumps but firmer in cornering. . . Just pay the little bit extra for the adjustables you will NOT regret it.[&:]

I have a set of cheap EBay springs I got for next to nothing. I'm going to get a set of adjustable shocks/struts to match with them. Adjustable is the only way to go.

I have this exact setup. night and day difference over stock. no more harsh than stock, better in corners.
